Default The Fx on this site

I am so desperate it is not even funny anymore. I have looked everywhere. I ams o exausted. Can someone help me before, I commit digital murder. The fx on tis site is what I am trying to achieve using Light Wave ver 7.0. Here is the URL http://www.flashlevel.net/ When you click on the buttons on the left, the right pod in the upper right corner plays this very neat animation combined with special fx. How can I achieve that. Can someone point me to special light fx or somethign that can get me started.

Thank you

Ok, guess i need to calm you down,,, motion graphics are cool,, but can be done on either 3d or 2d,,, In fact i think might be easier to attempt such a thing with after effects or another software.

But if Lightwave is the only tool you intend to use to get it,,, then you really need to work on it... loads of flat ploys,,, and each one animating at the correct speed... Turn on the glow and poof you might have it... Not to mention later taking it to after effects or post processing to get the bloom type effect,, Hehe ..

I would take a box or cylinder,,, add loads of segments freeze it... and randomly delete away stuff to start,,, or then again,, if you have the fancy fonts and know how to use the snake in lightwave.

In the end,,, you need to put in the effort and try. Try and error is the way out.

You are absolutely right. Time, I try to rush things. Without thinking. lightWave is just the tool I turn to first. Love that tool.

I will look into After FX.. Everybody key mentioning that, but i don't see those fx when I open the tool. I guess if I knew the pluggins, for Bloom.. What is bloom by the way?

Thanks for the info, any additional info would help on AE route

Ok,,, if you look closely at the motion graphics,,, you can see circles and loads of other tiny detials.,, overall in a design sense,,, i feel very tech,,,, right!

So hop over to deviant art,, and grab some awesome brushes,,, for photoshop and start your design there..

Or you can do it in Iullstrator... paths,,, will be better,,,,<<<<!!!

Then use the paths and layers and such in After Effects to do the motion..

The ones that are travelling at a topleft direction,,, is simply a motion with a perspective scale. As for the ribbon type ones.. you Need to spend more time on that.

As for bloom... Its available as a image filter in Lightwave..!!! Hehe... Yup there are loads of stuff just hidden in Lightwave.. you just need to explore it.

Ok,,, here is a post on my thoughts as far as lightwave... Ok,, there are far too many details to effectivly pull it off... So.. looking at the graphics.. I would create a cylinder... then UV Map it.. then use photoshop and then create maps... Clip Map. Color Map. No need bump or Spec.. Transparency Map... Hmm if necessary.

Then animate away.. But to get the most, you will need to do post processing.
