Default how to make my char better

i have had a hard time tring to get organic modeling down, That i have so far is this face, I want to know if there is something else i should be doing, I started off with a box and metaformed it twice. got rid of the left half and started making the face. the UV mapping tut i just downloaded was great but i am not sure how i would apply it to something like this. Any help anyone could give me would be great!

Hi koots, thats quite a neat guy you modeled there, Im didnt exavtly understand what you want help with though.. the modeling in general or just the UV Mapping?

UV mapping a head would be a more advanced UV tutorial. The Tabasco tute was meant to cover only the basics on an easy to follow objective...

maybe we should think about a whole line of tutorials beginning with the head modeling and going over UV mapping, texturing and endomorphs...
