Unhappy Help me please, a beginner here!

Hi, my auntie bought me Lightwave 8.0 for christmas, I'm only 13 you see. I need help, I have used the bevel tool, created plates, pans, and stuff like that, but I need help on how to create a model of a head, I haven't got a scanner, meaning I can't use the backdrop, but I will be getting a scanner soon, anyway if anyone out there is nice enough to help me, I'll be really happy ^

There are many tutorials on the Newtek's website. Those should be useful:

head modeling #1

head modeling #2

And until you don't have a possibilty to sketch and scan the backdrop images yo can find nice photos using google for example.

Good luck on modeling

Talking hello

Thankyou so much, when I went on newtek I could'nt really grasp the stuff I wanted, leading into confusion, I would really like to create a female manga character, I just love manga so much!, i have created a gigantic file on the girl I am going to model, her name shall be Ryoko Korizaki, a young girl aged seventeen, a magician, i have quite the imagination, once I grasp lightwwave, I promise I shall send a post of Ryoko!!

P.S thanks!, lets just hope these will help me!
