SE England user group
I'm posting this around the various LW forums.
Does one exist? If not how many South East UK users would be interested in starting one. What would you like from your user group? Meeting fellow users Workshop style on hands training where each user who attends passes on a tip or demos a technique. Or simply to socalise with like minded people with a common interest? Hmm... I believe there used to be a London LW User Group - not sure if it still exists or what though. (Can't rightly remember where I saw it either for that matter)...
Still, I wouldn't be adverse to meeting a few other wavers - even if just for a few drinks and a laugh... |

The CG Talk folk meet up every so often - its not just Lightwavers though, and all the talk is not just about CG either but from the meeting that I went to, it was a plesant experience.

Cheers F/SMan I'll pop something on cgtalk. I have posted in spinquad and of course NT's site. Any others?
Its early days but certainly looks like fluid effects (beer) is going to be an essintial item for the agenda. I keep this post updated during the course of the week, hopefully by next w/end will have a good idea how much interest there is and maybe start discussing possible location for the meet. Feel free to spead the word. Rgds Rich |

Good luck, you may have just dumped yourself in the organisers seat for what I hope is a successful meeting group. Might be a little awkward dropping in from Edinburgh but might manage the Christmas bash!!! It's amazing how many fresh ideas you can come up with when you attend these sort of meetings.... best Keith |

Hi folks,
Thanks for the interest so far. In an effort to ease the job of managing the updates on this toppic I have decided to keep the following thread updated only. http://vbulletin.newtek.com/showthre...5&pagenumber=1 This is no reflection on this site, just an attempt to make everyones life bit easier. Hope to see you in Sept. Richard |

Just out of interest - did you ask over at LWG3d as well? I know for a fact that there are at least four members around in the London area.
