Default Growing Limbs

I was wondering how I would accomplish an animation for a limb on a tree to grow out... I am using magic bevel to make my branches but do I have to keyframe each frame or can I just make a tree with small stubs and then magic bevel them out and make it do it automatically or how is this process done?

Hmm,,, sounds like a job for the tentical tutorial i saw somewhere,,, Well the lowdown is simple,, Model a strait branch.... then use the splinecontrol and morphs to get the animation done... Its easier than the bones method... Hehe
