Sub pixel displacement map rendering in Lightwave
Hi Everyone
I have been getting to grips with Normal map rendering in light wave, using zbrush, NormalMapCreate.P and of course lightwave. I will post my renders online soon along with a detailed a breakdown of the process I use, It is a slightly different method to what other LW normal mappers have been using so it may be of intrest to some. My question is, does any one know if Lightwaves renderer can do sub pixel displacement renders. For anyone who does not know what this is: In a sub pixel render, at render time the geometry of the object is not displaced only the pixels of the object which results in a much more detailed, convincing displaced object |
