Very cool design and nice modelling. How'd you do it?
Will you add SSS to the candle?

Hi Roux,

Thankyou. The design is based on one I say in a Thorntons chocolate shop. Did consider SSS, but too much time and effort for a candle, when I can just fake it.

This is the final render.

A big thankyou to Pi Song for setting up the scene and fixing the Glass.

Glass is one of Pi's Specialities.

Best Wishes

Wow :-O
(Chin grazes corner of desk)

Only comment would be that the candle seems just slightly too glossy for wax but looks great anyway.

VERY COOL! Only Crits are on the candle. Turn on some reflection blurring and turn the glossiness down. Reflection probably needs to be set at about 50-60% of what it is due to wax not being very reflective. Just my humble opinion though! Awaiting updates!

Thanx guys.

The candle I based this on was in a Thorntons chocolate shop.

The candle had a kinda glaze on it. Hope that explains it.

Nice candle pics, but not what I was aiming for
Best Wishes
