Default Nissan Z

Just like Saloman i am now starting to model my own nissan z. im not far into it only a part of framework so far. Those NewTek tutorials really help although philips are much better cuz he explains them...anyway here are some snapshots of what i have so far !

here is a small update added some more on the back, made the lights in front and changed the color

another update: finished bumper in the back added color to lights and made the liscence plate indentation

i wish i could battle someone but i only got lightwave like 2 months ago...plus i am a student and i have to go to school everyday. i hope its an awesome battle u and digi..... u know i wonder what happened to phillip and Mr. Gray???

Heh ... between his paying work, running this site, playing with his new bike and blowing up his computer kit I suspect he hasn't had too much time to complete it ... (Plus it was created in Maya - Yeuch!!)

Looking good so far. One thing you may want to take a look at is the lower parts of the rear fender. It looks from the screenshots as though there could be some lumpiness in the mesh there that may want to be smoothed out a little.

To check how smooth the mesh is, try adding a reasonably high specularity to the object surface. That way, you can rotate it in modeller and spot the areas that may not be as smooth as they should more easily.
