your characters always have a smooth/soft feeling over them... i like that!!! i also would like to see some wires ( especially of the face ).

How do you model? Where do you start from? Do you box model? or just build like the head tutorial here? I really like the style of them.

Not only are those good models but they seem to be great caricatures as well... Do you have the photos of the girls faces so we can see if you captured the likeness?

Hey Thanks!
Thankyou for all of your comments...Their parents have asked me not to post pictures of them on the net...sorry! I start my model with the eyesocket then work out from there down to the nose...then round the mouth and then I pull all the points back to get the shape of their head! Then i Build down from the neck...usin tubes for the limbs I form the body point by point...extender is my BESTFRIEND!!! (and daveythegravy) Here is some wires of the face... I made a new outfit for Laura... |
