Default Layer Names Delete?

Hi,

I've been working with a model made up of 30 or so layers and have recently cut it all down to 4 layers. How do I get rid of the names and stuff out of the empty layers because they're still there when I'm in layout and makes things a bit messy.

Thanks
Pete

Well I sussed out quite a good way using the Scene Editor and LScript Commander. Any other good ways (out of interest)?

Weird, when I go into Scene Editor, the names of my 4 layers are as they should be (I renamed them when I cut down from 30 or so layers). But when I go into Graph Editor, the 4 remaining layers have got the same names as when there were 30 layers.

If you have time on your hands then go to each layer and name it (unnamed) that turns off the layer.

Cheers!
