Modeler only license
Can you purchace a license of modeler without having to purchase the entire LW package?
an example would be for a small local studio. you may have 1-2 modelers 1-2 animators a texture artist compositor etc. so they wouldnt have to purchase more seats of lightwave just so the modelers can have it open and be modeling at the same time as the animators/or people prelighting the scene etc etc. Im very new to lightwave just installed the discovery edition this past friday and seeing the powerful tools the modeler has it would be nice. Give modo competition then again like i said im just a noob at lightwave. I come from maya but was looking at other packages and lightwave seems like a good / less expensive (being a big factor) alternative. Plus i read that it now has a linux rendernode built it or something like that. thats a major plus so you dont have to purchase a windows license per rendernode. |
