Default Creating Hair

hi everyone, I have been given a model at work and they want me to give the character long girly hair. Dose enyone knw how to creat long styled hair in lightwave?

Hair, now that's a tricky one, there are many ways, Do you mean, real hair fibers aka fiber fx, or do you want to model hair? You can do either.

generally I would recommend watching all the videos for Fiber fx and practice. I've found that fiber fx is very tricky to use, you'll get a lot of crashes with it. http://www.newtek.com/lightwave/96training.php[/URL] you can create guide hairs so you can style the hair, and have it react to dynamics.

or you can actually model it with polygons, and by using the magic bevel tool you can create Anime type hair and using bones can animate it also.
