Best tools for a beginner
What do you guys beleive are some of the greatest and most frequently used tools in lightwave or 3d modeling in general, besides the basic move, rotate, and scale.

Definitely a good bevel tool (I'd suggest even looking to buying Vertibevel or bevel++ to gain even more control though), and rail extrude are a must.
And for layout, FPrime from Worley labs will completely change your workflow... |

DragNet and Smooth shift have been usefull to me, also bansaw / Knife are essentials for adding stuff in at later times.

I believe you'll find it in the Construct/Additional menu in Modeller (at least in 7.5 you will)
