Upgrade LW 6.5
Hi
 I not sure if is the right place for my question. A friend want to sell me Lightwave 6.5 version with dongle and license. I want to know if it's possible to upgrade the software to 7 or 8 version and how much is the cost to upgrade ? Thanks in advance! |

No, you'll only be able to upgrade to the current version (Newtek don't sell old versions of their software).
European price list is available here: http://www.newtek-europe.com/uk/price/price_e.html Your friend will probably have to write to Newtek as well, informing them of the transfer of the license in order that you can purchase the upgrade. |

So if I buy LW 6.5 with transfered License, I can upgrade it to 9.5 or higher? |

I would first double-check with Newtek to make certain that you can get upgrade pricing from such an old version but, in theory, you should be ok.
