In the Newtek Lightwave fora, someone announced that version 2.34 of Blender was released. Several people who've tried it were impressed with it, and several others, including myself, are interested in giving it a go.
I just wanted to suggest that maybe Simply3D might want to consider starting a Simply Blender site. It's freeware, and could well act as a gateway for a lot of new people to get into 3D without the expense of packages like Maya or even LW. Anyway, just a suggestion idea kinda thingy. |

The best Blender forum to date..
But to 'give it a go' requires alot of work. Seriously, the interface is so wacked I successfully worked though some tutorials and still don't understand any of it.
