Erich - when I first joined SLW it really was a fledgling site - not much was going on at all and there were very few members. Over the last year or so, I think things have really kicked off a lot more - we've got more regular members...we've got some really amazingly talented people here and we've got people who are willing to answer questions no matter how dumb without resorting to the RTFM standard answer. I'm sure more tutes are on their way. Philip was saying something about lip syncing his Orc character at one point - and don't forget, he has just finished the McLaren tutorial.

I joined this site back when it was just SLW and SimplyMaya and I asked myself the same question. A lot has changed and the user base has jumped up considerably. I have haven't been active lately because I don't have a lot of 3D time at home since I am moving and in my temporary apartment my computer shares the same room as my 1 year old's crib. Each time I pop my head back in here at SLW I am amazed at the new videos and work I see.

I wouldn't worry. It's just how things are at this site. Its all Quantum Mechanics - everything comes in bunches.

Hey, even monkeys fall from trees.

I think as long as there is a picture posted along with the tutorial... showing you what to expect... then no harm done.
