Can someone help me with the Stretch Tool??
Hey, can anyone help me with this very basic problem? I've been going through a DVD tutorial for LightWave, and learning some fundamental things about modeling. Unfortunately, I'm not able to work with one of the tools the way it is used in the DVD. I'm trying to use the 'STRETCH' tool to reshape a polygon, but all it seems to do is MOVE the polygon (stretching the polygons next to it). What can I do to make this work?

How is he useing it in the dvd?
How do you want to reshape the polygon?

Stretch Tool
In the DVD, the stretch tool is being used to change the width and height of the polygon. That's what I want to do. Instead, everytime I try to use it, it just moves the polygon relative to the rest of the model, thereby stretching all the surrounding polygons.

Ahh check your action center.
Its a pop up list on the bottom of modeler be sure its set to "Action center selection" You probbly have it set to "Action center mouse.
