Can't believe I missed this one! Certainly looks a nice model. If you don't mind me asking, what approach did you take to modelling this? The mesh is nice and clean looking with some lovely little details.

thanks for your coment, this model is made with many boxes in the beginning, one for the nose, one for the body, I know that i can also use the Disc tool for that, but i prefer using a simple box. Cut the midle of the body to a second layer and move points, also subdivice the surface i need to make details etc.

sorry for my so bad explaination, using spline is also a great way to get a nice model, but I think seriouly that takes more time and the result has more polygons than a simple box modelling, what do you think about it?

Many thanks for the explanation of the modelling technique - I really like what I'm seeing here with the textures. This model has come together really nicely.

That is fantastic. I have no idea how to start on something like this using subpatch and a low poly count. My other question is how do you map it so tightly without deformation?

missing time for a nice UV map, my way mapping is the planar map, one for the upper surface and so one. Everybody can do it right and that way is really simple.
