Rigley - I just love that almost hand illustrated look you manage to get in those renders. How on earth do you do it?

Yes, I know that ... but what sort of settings to get that look? Also, that second image doesn't quite have a cell shaded look to it.

and these are just test renders? I would hate to see what happens when you're actually focussing on a proper full render. The second render is especially nice for something that is just a "thing"

Scarvin here is a blueish one as you requested. I have just color corrected it in PS.

Well the orange image is simple cell shading with visible edges, and the secont one uses a plugin called G2 from Worley Laboratories. Its not free, but believe me its worth the price
