Assign Hypervoxels to the particals then texture the hypervoxels.

Hi equinox!

If you wanted another option (other than using Hypervoxels), instead of using a Particle Emitter , use a Partigon Emitter.

The difference is that Particle Emitters use Points for their particles (so they don't show up in the render), while Partigon Emitters use Single Points Polys for their particles (so they do show up in the render!)

So you don't have to set up the whole thing again, save the current emitter's settings in the Edit tab, add a partigon emitter and then load the settings from the first emitter. You can adjust the particle size in the emitter's controls and/or the object properties>render tab. Then tick Particle blur in the camera properties box to make the particles streak like rain. This should render faster than Hypervoxels.

Hope this makes sense!

Cheers! priimate.

these are some of the problems that i need help with now.first thing is...........

On the groung the drops of rain are not pooling up .The ones rolling off the square need to pool and the others that hit directly need to splatter into more water particles and desolve or grow into puddle's

and second i think half of the drop's hitting the square directly need to splatter into more also. and is there any way to leave a trail like a streak of water behind them as they roll off?
