Default Gnome Arthas strikes back.

Hello all! I am back in action in the world of 3D. During about 2 years i made one model in 3D... witch isent verry good.

But now i decided to come back and look for new inspiration. My first project would be Gnomish.

I spent lots of time on WoW (Thuralyon server for all that care).
And i must say gnomes are cute.

The following part will be geeky. For all you who people who played the games, ready the stories, played the Rollplaying game and so on know about Arthas... how he became corrupt and so on, and beckame the ultimate evil litchking... jada, jada, jada. SO, my toguh is, WHAT would happend if the main character was a gnome? What would happen if a gnome named Lef, or Olof picked up the sword Frostmourn? ...i guess nothing would have happend exept he would have looked verry funny.

My idea is to make a gnome. Then make Arthas Death-Knight Armor and put it on the gnome.

So here we go, big project.

(last project i spent 2 years on, then i got a total computer crash, nothing left and the backup disk i had it on was unreadable... so lets hope it dosent happen again)

This is Arthas, and yes. I boguht the toy figure.

so.. i opend WoW, created a new figure, stripped him and took some pictures. Oh yea, move that gnome body *klick, klick*

Ok, i will now start with the face... place the pictures of 'front' and 'back' in the background.

I will start with the face as i always do. So here we go.

(dosent he look sexy?)

ok, face is under modeling now... 2 houers passed. Time goes fast when you are in Modeler.

The lesser nice parts in the face i hope to fixe after the head is done. Change it so it wont be so... symmetric.

oh well

Nice to see you back, Voices

The model seems to be coming along fine so far - I can't really see anything to crit about it. I'll be watching to see how it develops.

There we go. I forgot to set it Doublesided so you can se though the teth, but it took 25 minutes to render so i will put it up as it is .
now i got Body, Eyes and texturing to do... wonder if i am gona make him with pants on. I know Dwarf and Gnomes build things verry big, they might be compensating, so..hmm.. i just make him with underwear so we dont have to think about that.

Good to have you back Voices! Nice start on the gnome.
I played WoW for about 3 months on the Illidan server but decided to stop since it was too addicting. My friend on the other hand has been playing it since it's debut
Anyway hope this turns out awesome
