Hi guyz,
For the last few years ive played with lightwave.. 90% of the time learning modeling.. This weekend i though i would play with layout and hypervoxels.. Anyhows ive 2 questions.. 1 how would i add an heat haze around the main meteor to reflect the heat from it? 2 And how would i make the sea reflect the speed the meteor is passing by, disturbing it. Many thx for any 1 with a little help or tip.. Imagebelow is my render up to now Last edited by arma; 15-02-2004 at 10:59 PM. |

At www.worley.com check out the Taft Collection... It's priced at $199.00, but one of the plugings in this set is called "Heat Wave", and may be what you're looking for.

> meteor is passing by, disturbing it. you can do this by using 2 plugins from Worley's Polk collection www.worley.com Acid will modify the surface properties of the water to make it look like it's white and foamy. It can also fade out as the meteor passes by and return to your regular water texture. Poke will actually modify your water mesh and make it dip down underneath the meteor. It can also return the water mesh to it's normal position after a specified number of frames. take care |
