Default The Cable Guy

Ok guys I havent posted any work in awhile but anyway, I have 4-5 renderings I'm working on for a large electronics company whom I can't mention. anyway these cables will eventually be clipped an put on the back of the cable packages. Heres the first one I have started let me know what you think. One a day until next tuesday then I'll be done...


please dont distribute or post these images anywhere else..unfortunately these guys own me for the time being

looks good, perhaps the black cable could use some tweaking, not sure why but it looks a bit off.. anyways, great work

just got done the second one...its hard to see the details when i shrink them down. but they're rendered at 1280x960..the wires start to get mushed together..anyway

the first angle you mean..or cable? All these cables exist i just have to model and render them so they dont need to try and pull off a photo shoot. due to the positioning,lightening etc. Just easier to render then photograph I think...shhhh plus its more fun well the later position suites itself for the package layout better

I suppose building models of cables like this must be an education in itself into what cables do what and what they look like. Not the most inspirational of subjects, but good solid work nevertheless.

Yep! Its not to bad, I just like the fact that I'm getting a break from doing design work, and practice modeling ..It also helps when your getting paid to do it...wooohooo
