Is it possible for someone to Zip the Ocean scenefile and upload it? After three hours of downloading the first .AVI it just stopped.

I don't really want to try it again....
And i figure the scene file would only take a few seconds.

Just an idea, as it seems half the world is trying to download the tutorials. And 1kb per second does not cut it.

This is not a complaint, just a suggestion....

The site looks great, and i'm glad to have another Lightwave site to visit on a daily basis (you can never have too many)
And especially such a nice looking one, with talented ops...

Tripper, this actually is a good idea!

Check back in a few minutes.

Our provider decided to maintenance their routers today, so sometimes the connection is briefly interrupted...

sorry for the hassle, but you should definitely get the whole movies...

sorry again.

Thanks Phillip...

Yeah i will actually download the AVI's ASAP....

It only had 5mins left and stopped. Arrrggghh!!

And now everybody else is trying, as it's going to take 13 hours to download this time.....

I will try to download them in a few days, when there is less
people hammering your server....
I guess a few people have been waiting for them....

But again, thanks for the reply and the great website....
Love the look and colour scheme, and i hope it continues to grow.

Thanks Kevin....

I'm not on Broadband on my current connection,
just lil'old 56k

The speed of the first download, varied but was acceptable.
(especially as so many would be trying to download at once)
But i just have limited time today....Could even just be my ISP..

Again thanks for the rapid response....

This site gets cooler by the second...
Keep up the good work fella's

Tutorials look great! (actually everything does)

Thumbs up Looks fantastic!

I'm another that came for the tutorial and stayed for the site. It looks great! If I had to make one suggestion, I might recommend a change to the CSS so that links had a subtly-different color from ordinary text--I can find the links but I keep feeling a certain "ga-boing!" when the text makes an obvious reference to a link that doesn't become plainly visible until you move your mouse over it. I realize that's a question of style, though, and maybe I should just get used to it. ;-)

I agree with you there ill experiment with some different colours later see if we can make it a tad more obvious

manutter.. so sorry my freind! This is totally my fault..

I had started editing the fonts but was so tired from the release of the site (I was up for around 50 with no sleep) that I just died in my bed and forgot about it

But I will crack on with it ASAP

Default General Discussion

It seems like there should be a General forum. Just a place to have general discussion.

My 2 cents...
