i don't see much
of the scene now ... but i know my monitor is very dark(can't do much about it :headbang: )
the skull in the moon is a nice touch ,but i think it should be more subtle. |

Ah man...I thought from your first renders - that you were doing the cementary from the outside looking in...so I figured mine was going to be different since it was going to be a close up of a grave... but I just looked at your latest renderings and it looks like you are really doing pretty much what I had in mind.
And since you are in the noob category and it's going to look better than mine :headbang: I think I am going to need to change my concept to something else. Hmmm. Ok...think....hmmm.... |

ok thanks !
will take away the glow and make the skull more subtle.... and make my modelling monitor darker....it's clear that it is set too bright. hey digitalshow....darn, I don't wanna be the bad guy....besides I was hoping to steal from your expertise... so I can't borrow that arm of yours than aye ?!....nah that wouldn't be fair... the front look was the first setup, but the focus of the image was way too small, cause the gate was taking too much space. That's why I moved the camera. What am I gonna put on the stone...hmmm good question. Haven't decided yet...I was gonne make some references to graveyard scenes, but only in the background stones not the main one. I was thinking about the good the bad and the ugly for instance, or the cryptkeeper ( tales from the cript ), No clue for the main stone yet. |

Digging your texture on the bottom flat part of the grave that the lantern is sitting on...looks very gritty and real.

Hi all, been a while since I made my last confess....erhhh update...
I've made a few graves ( more left to do ), added a light with a tree shadowmap to give some shadows on the graves, broke up the stone in the front and added text. I'm also working on a tree in the background, still needs work. http://users.pandora.be/sma/015.JPG |
