ok here is the body texture...still not very happy with it!! it isn't looking like a skin that much!! also a little error where the leg joins the body!! going to fix that!!! just wanted to show you some progress!!!

Nice modeling skills. Good textures.
the back legs look a little bit like they are not compleaty set in right. maybe some muscle detail to show its conected to the body ? |

good job on the textures dude!!!
I have two crits. tho.... The frilly thingy seems to be facing too much frontward, if u noe what i mean... And the tail is a little too thin, i guess is needs more diameter or something like that. Hope this helps. other than that... good work! Last edited by Zeeman; 01-09-2004 at 02:13 PM. |

i agree with the tail but i think the frill should remain forward as thats what happens when it opens up. Fix what you said on the leg and it will look sweet.
Whats your thoughts on its environment? |

i am going to get a paper and note al the stuff you guys dont like!! so when i have finished the texturing i can get those things fixed!! im not sure about the environment yet!! i think it will be in a jungle where my dinosaur is guarding her eggs!! |

lol dont be afraid dae!!! i have now some free days for school!!
so i can make time to work on it but yeah...you are right...time is going fast so i have to finish the last thing on my dinosaur!! im not sure though if i will use al those days for my dinosaur!! i also need to work on my school stuff!!! i tryed to make a skelegon for it some days ago!!! but there are some bugs... i know how to fix them though!! |

ok finally got the skelegon set right!!
i made a test animation to see how it would move. im pretty happy with it!! the head and frills are morphs. the legs,body,tail and arms are moved by bones!! its a 8 second long *.WMV file!!! next step: make a jungle where he lives!! very nice moves there:tup:, i really like that frill flicker thingy you got going on there, one crit, change the current lighting rig to a three point light setup as it will lift the dino right out of the black background.

ive started to put the dinos in their position!! i dont have an idea how dinosaur eggs look like, so i just made some modified spheres!! now i need to make some plants, and find a way to make grass!! |

looking gud bullet.
the way i made my grass was using saslite in lightwave, jsut av 2 tweek a few settings 2 get it like grass. |

yeah grass is easy with saslite, looks good, i am at work so i cant see the animation. Eggs are eggs dude so what you have would surfice, the jungle is gonna be the time killer.
