thanks guys!!

i had another way in mind to make grass without using saslite.
Its just a polygon with a grass texture on it and a transparance map over it!! im pretty happy with the results.

the only thing i have to do is make a more realistic grass texture
( the texture i have now at the moment is just a simply paintbrush strokes in photoshop ).

EDIT: i know the eggs are a little to bright,
and the picture itself is a bit to dark. im going to fix that.
but well, just wanted to show the grass test!!

ooooo... has a jurassic park feel without the rainforest/swampy surroundings... i'm lovin it man!! I think your grass looks great. Just the bright edges as you noted look as tho they need a fixin'.. superb!

I agree, it's a bit too dark.

Looking like it should be great when it's done!

I like the scene overall, but the grass just doesn't seem right to me...:ermm: I like the idea, but, perhaps its a little too jagged or thick closer to the screen???

Still too dark! Looks good from what I can tell, though.
