Default Basic of the basics

Ok, i'm totally new to light wave and when i first opened it, i got lost just by looking. Where can i get some good tutorials for the modeler (version 7.5 i think, or version 7). I'm really looking into things such as monster modeling to make monster with it off the top of my head. All tutorials greatly thanked for and thanks in advance

Yeah there are online manuals in your Lightwave directory. They are in Adobe Acrobat format (*.pdf).

is it because i have LW7.0 that when i activate the subpatch all the original lines and vertices turn green.... i mean it still smoothes it out though but can i change the color of subpatch because this is what i get and it gets laggy

R4s1n: the green lines is the subpatch cage, to turn it off press 'd' and uncheck 'Show Cages'
