Question human head tutorial

Hello, new user here working through my first tutorial...I got this far in the Human Head tut, and I've got these holes in the eyebrow.
I can't seem to figure out how to fix it, or what went wrong. Do I just need to start over?

Hmm... it looks as though you've simply got some flipped polys in there.

Use the 'Normalise polygons' command to make them face the same direction as their surrounding polys...

Ok, where is that function located? (I'm running ver. 7.0)

The polys weren't flipped.
I mirrored the face and the problem didn't appear on the other side, so I deleted the problem side and mirrored again, and it's fixed. However I keep encountering the same type of problem while trying to close the back of the head...
I know this is something simple, but I can't pin down what I'm doing wrong...

I would:
1. Delete any two point polys if they exist.
2.Check for any polys with >4 points and split or delete them.
3.Check for and weld any points that aren't welded and need to be around the problem polygon.
4. Turn on double sided in surface editor.

Hope that fixes any problem you might be having.

Yeah I think it has to do with polys that have >4 points, cuz I keep getting an error about that when I hit TAB to enter subpatch mode...
....Thanx, Guys!
