Default curve constrain deformer and bones animation

i am using a curve contraint on a spline to make a hose deform with a null that has a point effector on it, until here everything works fine, the hose deform nicely....
but now in addition i want to add bones to my hose in order to animate it and give it a living look..
i tried to use the bones deformation for the spline but it does not affect the curve constrain.....
does anyone have a solution to this?
it is a pretty simple set up but i cannot find to to get through it
Thanks in advance
