Default Sandman September/October

I think I'm going to try this one. I'm Still considering ideas, The strongest one is a Post Appocolyptic Suburbia. I want to do something different, unexpected. Still thinking... I plan to start modeling tommorow... we'll see what happens.

took me a little while to start up. The idea that I'm going for is Suburbia Apocalypse. First step is to build the before environment (just before the end), Then I dirty it up a bit then just see where the chaos takes me.

This is the first of the houses. I designed it according to memories of my childhood home.

As it is there doesn't seem to be much of a point posting anything over here. If it wasn't part of the rules I think I'd stop posting @ the Maya site too. Anyone asks, I'll be happy to post the latest progress.

Since you interested, here you go. I've been working on the UV for a while now. The biggest stumbling block is the brick pattern. If I just had a flat plane It would be OK to use but wrapping around corners changes the pattern. So I've spent the last week or so drawing all the bricks. I think this will work out better in the long run because I will have the morter as a separate layer. I can manipulate it easier. Well more to do. I'll post again soon.
