Help! Need to Learn the Basics
Hey everyone! I'm a total LightWave newby, and I'm trying to learn Modeler and Layout. However, I'm having trouble finding any good basic from-the-ground-up tutorials. Does anyone know how I where I might find some? Thanks!

Aside from the tutorials (I gave you the link on your other thread), look at Newtek's site. They have quite a few basic tutorials available.

You may also want to look at getting Dan Ablan's Inside Lightwave book - this is an essential guide to learning the toolset.

Basic Tutorials
Thanks! Since I don't know how I could get that book right now, I'm wondering if you (Or anyone else) would know of a place that I can find something similar online.

Read up on the basic tutorials - i.e. Modeler/Layout interface, viewports, tools...
http://www.lightwave3d.com (loads of beginner tutorials) http://www.mgfx.net (download the LW 6.5 Beginners Guide) http://www.suture.net/tutorials/modeling/index.shtml (Tools)
