Default views dont match

im trying to start this ferrari and i have been having nothing but problems, i got all the images saved with real simple names, and i placed them in the correct views but in modeling the one view is backwards.
what is wrong?

Looks as though your view down the Z axis is set to 'front'.

Set it to 'rear' and you should see the correct orientation.

i still dont understand tho why the "front" axis isn't really the front picture

Because when you model the car, you are modelling it looking into the positive Z axis (i.e. looking from negative Z to positive Z). Therefore you are looking from the rear of the model.

Seems kind of counterintuitive I know, but you soon get used to it and it does make sense when you think about it for a while.
