The problem you have is not rendering glass, but that transparent GIFs (IIRC) don't support variable transparency. Therefore, all you have for that is what effecitively amounts to a clip map.
To be honest, I'd be tempted to simply render the whole thing (logo and background) in Lightwave and just upload that as an image to your site instead of simply doing the logo... |

Thanks Voices3D.
Techi - excuse my ignorance but what about 24-bit PNG? does that not support variable transparency? I don't know but I use them all the time in web images.

Techi -
No I completely forgot it was there [Redface]. Basically, I flattened the box and scanned the two sides of the flat pack. Put them together in photoshop. The I simply created my mesh using that as the background - flat. UV mapped flat and then folded the sides to make the box.

Hi and thanks for the comments.
Neo_rangeruk : The tut I think is on Philips site liquidarts.de? or you can find it on lightwave http://members.shaw.ca/lightwavetutorials/ Look for the Jack Daniels tutorial. Voices3d : Glad you like it and I hope it helps. Cheers, Roux
