Default Snow Help

Hi i was messing about doing an ice surface..

could any1 tell me how to make snow fall on ground and object cos ive not really messed with hv3 yet really

First make your Obj a colision Obj then add a particle admitter
set up your settings the way you want it and there you go..you need to know how to use MD motion designer...

I dont think you need motion designer... Just add the partical emmiter and then activate it from the Hypervoxels menu. Start your surfacing from that. I would go for sprites,,, say 3 slices.. and then go about the surfacing.. Oh ya,,, remember to use Viper to see the results. As for the ground,, add a collision fx for it. Set to stick. You can add wind to get a nice effect too.

Kinda got my snow...

whats the best method for a blanket of snow on ground..more HV or a dif way many thx heres a quicky of snow

Ok, for a blanket of snow, i would suggest modeling it,, as might be a little consuming to render particals. but if you want accurate stuff and looks like the shot is pretty close too,, so maybe a little modelling around the letters to get the basic shape then adding nulls above them then setting their properties to start earlier,, so that you can get snow over them, then render out.
