Looking cool!
I like the cloth texturesand it's good modeling too.

I know this is really not important but still... I think you should bevel the edges of the stand and give it more segments (it just is attracting to mach attention :p).
It looks like you tried to use radiosity, right? You should give it more rays per evaluation to get rid of the grain.

the stand is just for the test render so it won't float in space and i'm too lazy to make it look better :o
