Default Multiple PCs to crunch an animation

Hello all,
1) I would like to get ScreamerNet configured and running so that I can use 3 or 4 pcs to do the rendering.

After all the RBG frame files are created, what utility/software do you use to put all the images together into an AVI file?

Do any of the standard Photo imaging packages (ie Adobe Photoshop) or Video editing packages (ie Adobe Premiere) allow one to import sequenced frames in a particular folder and then export into an AVI file?

thanks in advance for any help.

Photoshop I don't think can do that. Adobe Premier should be able to handle that easy. Although I never used it.

Here is a link for Screamernet information, setup and stuff.

yes premier can do this....but b4 you go and drop bucks on that...if you just want to compile it...lightwave can do that...only drawback is lightwave can't add sound...

For compiling the video from the rendered images there are plenty of free solutions out there if you don't want to pay for AE.

You could give Avid FreeDV a try http://www.avid.com/freedv/

A good site to check out is here: http://www.videohelp.com/tools.htm
