Yep there's never a deadline for signup - so long as you can get the entry in by the final deadline, you can sign up the day before and work like crazy to get your entry in.

it's a little late, but I found this game with a steampunk race and thought I'd share the link in case it gives any inspiration: http://riseoflegends.com/media/vinci_concept_art.htm

You might also want to check out the Wiki entry for 'Arcanum - Of Steamworks and Magic Obscura' ... there's a bunch of external links that lead to screenshots from the game other resources.

[edit] oops ... forgot URL: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arcanum...External_links

Heh - now that I'm a moderator I don't get the chance to win any of the competitions. Then again, when I wasn't a moderator I didn't win any of the competitions anyway. The only other thing is that I'm going off on holiday soon and will miss the deadline anyway.

:eek3: That date, April 15th...

What do you mean by that?

Would the date be according to the real world, like GMT?
Or should we plan according to the web clock of this web site?

We'll just say that you have until the morning of April 16th, 8am, Pacific USA time. That's when I'll close it.

:bandit: One more question, if you don't mind...

Do we challenge among ourselves, like LW fellows, our do we compete against the Maya people as well?

SL and SM are both in the challenge and the winner will be chosen from the whole group.
