Default walk cycles

Hi there, I am trying to create a walk cycle in lightwave 3d and I have created the sequence over 30 frames and it is just walking on the one position. I was wondering if there was a quick and easy way to get my character to now walk forward along a path. I would be really greatful for any help and advice anyone might have. Thanks.

The easy way would be to add a null to your scene and parent the entire character and it's skeleton to it. Then, simply move the null to move the character.
