Unhappy Mc Laren Car Modeling

Hey Duncan-

That guy RWHunt has caused me to put the tutorial down. I got inspired by him and he took it all the wrong way, so I walked away from it.

I got discouraged is what happend. As I have said before this tutorial has so much to offer but it was not complete, the Tire section was a let down in a serious way. The instructor decided to just not add the complete tire treads and all.

I wish that he came back to add too it and do a tire section so we can purchase it and add it too the videos.

However like I said RWHunt has caused me to drop this one. I was inspired by him once and he broke me of that, and I walked away.

As a new guy to something like this, we have to be careful how much we praise people as they may get nervous for all the wrong reasons.

I hope that you got far, see yah man.

I've completed this tutorial and found it very helpful. The tyre tread is done using a UV map, however if you want a tutorial on how to build tyres using geometry you'll find one at the Luxology website that sells modo. The two programs are fairly similar. Hope this helps.

I'm not sure what I said that put you off, never meant to discourage you.
