I have seen various images on the internet of rendered objects that look like this:

thats an example of Global Illumination

You can also use Skydome (part of Eki's PlugPak) to achieve similar results in a fraction of the time.
A demo version can be downloaded, but it's only about $40-$50 I think to register (and well worth it - Eki's plugins are worth their weight in gold!). His website is here: http://www.kolumbus.fi/erkki.halkka/plugpak/ |
