Default abstract ?

hey all is it possable to create abstract images like this in lightwave http://www.yoro.biz/ps/fractal/messing11b.jpg if so does anyone have a easy to follow tutorial on how to do it thanks in advance

check out www.niklasindustries.com, he's got some pretty good tutorials on doing that kind of stuff in LightWave.

thanks for that link will prove most useful to me at some point

i have another question about philip's head tutorial (beginer) i have my head drawn out (only 2d) now i noticed that he deleted part of the mouth but it doesnt show how he done it lol sounds kinda dumb but i dont know anything about lightwave, also i noticed the way he was able to go into different kinda modes when he had his image in 3d from smooth to like a rough surface etc.. wot button does this!!!!!! lol hope someone can help me with this as im itchin to move on to the next part of this tut thanks in advance
