Looking good so far! Its coming together slowly but surely. On your original concept sketches I thought the dragon might be a stone statue - that would take me at least two months to model on its own, but what a centrepiece!

Adjustment
Hmm,,, well i adjusted a few things in the scene... The tower looks ok,,, but think i have to do a detailed one,,,, well in case you are wondering why the hell did i do this one,,, well for a far shot i dont want too much deatil and still want some accuracy,,, so if i need a less deatiled version i will have one,,, Now i am still thinking of adding some more things to the scene...

Tower Details WIP
Added a pedestal to the center with a floating ruby,,, the basic tower structure is done,,, now for the finer details... i am thinking stone gargolyes,,,, :p... any ideas,,, or reference pictures... Man this is a learning experiance,,, since its my first architecture type of an attempt.

Tower Detail Stone Gargolye WIP
Here is the WIP of the stone gargolye,,,, looked at lots of pics from google,,, and then worked this out,,,, this is all for today,,, I shall see if i can model this quickly engough,,,, if yes,, then you might see the whole body,,,, if no,,, then the face or part of the body,,,, I am not sure where i want this,,, but i might do other stuff also.

I'd recomend giving the edges of your tower a bit of a bevel, as well as any other hard edges, as no building would have a perfectly sharp edge anywhere.
What about windows and such? Maybe spiked fortifications or whatnot. Just ideas. Keep it up! |

Hmm, interesting idea about the spike,,, oops,,, guess i forgot about the bevel thing again.... I'll fix that. Thanks Mike. Well here is the update on the stone gargoyle. Well i know,,, i have work to do,,, but had some spare time,,, so decided to finish the head,,, guess i still have the ears,,, maybe a horn and the neck to do,,, i might do that later today,,.

Well,,, hehe,,, i am having a blast with this guy the gargoyle... and guess what,, i have already fixed the tower and also have added some spikes to it,,, like what you suggested.. After i add more stuff then i will post a pic,,, but here is think todays final update. Hmm,,, hopefully i have more time tommorrow...

I like. It's kind of got a crab like aspect to its lower jaw. Kinda makes me think how a Gargoyle would look in an underwater civilisation (or a civilisation of crab-beasts...)
