I have a new update rendered where I am modeling the headlights and new more accurate front bumper.

I will get it up in the next hour or so.

Just got in from a long days trip so going to rest a bit first.

MBStudios

P.S. Thanks for all the kind and positive feed back I am getting it really helps to inspire more toward the car.

in general really nice, i'm wondering whether the headlights are a bit too much to the outside, but I'm not that used to the car

Dude,

This looks swwwweeet. For a 2005, blueprint references must be hard to come by. Creative juices have to work overtime from photo references.

Keep up the good work. Looking forward to some more.

Thanx!!! I went back to my refference pics and also my back drops and I am using Photos for backdrops. Everything appears to be lined up. Meaning the Headlightitself the round area for instance is dead on when looking in wireframe mode forinstance.

Then doing a comparison to with the refference photos its looking right so far.

However I am going to go out and get some photos of my own allowing for much more detailed refferences than what is found on the net.

This will probably require me remodeling certain areas LOL but thats ok its the journey that is so much fun anyway

I will examine this closer once I have some of my own pics together.

Yep,

Half the fun, is the amazing stuff that can be create as the learning time goes by. Nice work on the edges, especially with 5 points polys. They nag the heck out of me.

Thanx Promethius,

It is dificult somewhat to work with photos mainly because sometimes the detail is dificult to see. I have remodeled this one 4 times... meaning I have broke down large areas of the model in order to try and get a more accurate model.

In fact I find more refference pics that might give more detail of a certain area only to find from one perspective its right on but from another angle according to the new refference photo it might be off a bit.

In fact after looking more into Kermits sugestion about the headlights I am finding I will need to adjust them some. However that wont be a real problem. I have to say though I was real close.

The center part of the headlight is to far to the left or toward center ( 0 ) and needs to move to the right just a bit the outedge of the car.

Plus it needs to be moved toward the front a bit I have them a bit far back but this is an easy adjustment and should have this done in one of my later renderings.

Thanx Kermit for the CRIT will make for a better car

An Update!

I remodeled or as some call it detailed or tweaked

However, it felt alot like remodeling as I had to make some a major changes.

I found a site with lots of High Res refferences that realy shed some light on the hood area so I felt like remodeling that area. Also, I am nearly done with the T Top area just a bit more detailing left on it.

Heres a couple of renders!
