Default PAINT

Here are some nice settings for some shiny Red Paint that I made.
After you enter those then click the reflection tab and click reflection options, select Ray-Tracing + Spherical Map. Then under Reflection Map choose a spherical map that you may have. If you don't have one then I'll email u one. Now, for a Chrome texture just select the Presets button (located directly under Viper in Layout, and directly under Image Editor in Modeler) then open up the pull down menu at the top and select metals, then select chrome. Then feel free to tweak the textures to you're liking.

also i was just wondering, does this happin 2 any of u guys, when im in layout, and i got 2 save all oblects, my pc usually seems to crash, the program ends up not responding and stuff
sometimes i might be able to get away with it and the pc will be ok but usually i have to shut the program down, then restart

Default Sorry

O, my bad, I just realized that it isn't called the reflection tab, but the enviroment tab. Sorry. Hold down shift and click the little E to turn it off. Then click the little T and select remove texture. Here is what it should look like. Sorry for any confusion.

Looks like you might have hit the "Light this thing psychadelically and make the render look crap" button by accident. Baad trip. Sorry, haven't a clue what happened there
But getting back to your previous render, yep need more than one light.

Ok, first hit the compositing tab near the top and make whatever image you want to use as your HDRI as a background. Then take it off. Now your image will appear in the ImageWorld Menu. Hope this helps.

maybe this will help!! press d in layout and then turn "Fixed near clip distance" on!! then give it a value of 100mm or something!! maybe you have to set it higher or lower depending on how big your object is!!! im not sure this will help, but at least you should give it a try

btw...very nice looking bike!!
