War of the Worlds - CChristensen
This is the start of my attempt at this challenge. I know, right now it looks like an ordinary coke can but this model will change quite a lot by the time I am done (hopefully before the contest ends).

Kvaalen, yea the highlights shouldn't be on that very top rim. That throws the look off a bit. Otherwise is is pretty close to the can I have to model against. Since I have a lot of changes to make this model ready for war, I didn't worry about it too much.

hey Cory, the model looks great but what really puts this thread over the top is the choise of theme, I cant understand why I didnt think of this lol

You're going to make it like a robot? I thought it'll be cool to have cartoonish legs, hands and face. But oh well, I guess you are going for a realistic feel.
You're going to have a fun time animating that. :p
