Default Multi Pass Renderering

Hi

A while back I posted asking if it would be possible to make a tutorial movie on Multi pass rendering. Just wondering if that has gone any further or may be possible.
It would be great to see how to setup multiple objects with different pass properties and how you should use them.

I know the process might be simple enough to setup. But its just so much easier getting it straight in your head, when you watch it in a movie tut.
