Default March 2003 Model Of The Month Competition

Alright, this month topic for the MOTM competition will be as follows

Futuristic Phone

Let your imaginations be the limit for this one, it can be a cell phone or a 'regular' phone. Some guidelines that should be followed, there should be a user interface ( ie. display, keypad etc. ) of some kind, a microphone and a speaker since those are basically things that are a must for a phone to operate other than that it can be designed to be operated by keybad, touchscreen, voiceoperated etc. let your imagination run free.

Post reference sketches if available and keep posting updates as your work moves on.

The deadline is March 31st! - The winner will be announced shortly after.

Post your final renders with a front, side and perspective view and dont forget to label it 'FINAL RENDER'

Enter your threas as "Phone - USERNAME"

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The model needs to be zipped up with "any" instructions / read me file / copyright issues etc, and uploaded to the models area.

It needs to read that "you" give permission for "this model" to be hosted on the Simply Lightwave servers for free download for the users of Simply Lightwave for "non commercial" use only and also to include your name and address if someone wants to contact you over it.

Good luck everyone!

If you have any questions just post them here or PM me

I have a question that has to do with both of the challenges but I'll ask it here anyhow:
Philip said that there would be a posibilty of colaberation, I didn't see any such option in either challenge, does it exsist? If so, what are the rules for it and how is the prise split?
(if there is a prise, I didn't see any mention in either challenges)

Yep. You're right. Except it's showing an hour slow to me here.

Probably something to do with the clocks changing from GMT to BST last weekend...
