Default Realistic Ballmovements

Hi everybody,
I have to find a solution to the problem of having a ball roll, fly and rotate just right, while it's moving inside a kickertable. This should include the ball being hit and bouncing of the walls.
Does anybody know how to solve this problem, or do you know of an existing expression that can handle at least the rotation, or do I have to use MD?
Please help! thank's in advance!

I don't think motion designer is what you need here. You would be better off looking at a rigid body simulation system such as react (http://www.sector3.com.au/react.asp)

Thank's for your reply Rincewind.
I've been playing around with MD the whole day, and I think it came up with some good results so far, but I'm gonna give react a try today. It's just to bad, that the demo version is only available for windows users. Well, at least there is a mac version!
cheers!

You can also take a look at Impact 3 by Dynamic Realities. That is more expensive at $395, but they do have a mac demo version.

... or of course, wait for LW8 since this is supposed to have rigid body dynamics built in...

That's true, but we have a while to wait for that one yet

...yes I'm also waiting for the LW8 release, but since I have to finish this project soon...
I'm gonna give the Impact3 demo a try now, with the danger, that it's gonna dig a deep hole in my pocket when i fall in love with it.
Thank's for your replys!!!
