Default Tornado Table - WIP

Hi guys

Ive been modeling this foosball table for some time now... I want to finally finish it. any help on texturing it? I Know i dont need a UV for the table itself but for the rods - men? I know it looks a bit 2D'ish.. thats why i need to texture it.

Lots of clones there, probably best doing UV mapping for one so they can all share that texture. Unless you want them to be unique. I learnt that the hard way.

Might want to UV map the rods too, rest could probably be done with projection. Those rods look dangerous, wouldn't like to play a game at that table.

Ah right. So you have some distance to avoid the specific accident.

Yours looks pretty accurate. Remember to turn on Smoothing for the rods, and get texturing!

Do turn the smoothing on, and may I suggest sub pathing it (the rods)?
It's looking cool, it looks so simmiler!

I Recommend making the corner of the table and the legs beleved to round them off. This will remove the cg look to it. In the real world nothing is square. This saying also goes with this next one, in the real world, nothing is really clean. So you can dirty up your surfaces with some Procedural texture.
